What is Virtual Web Hosting? Virtual web hosting is much like renting an office. Your business website is housed in our facility (servers) and you have access to it just as you would have access to your office. As with any business, you want yours to be identified by a name. In Internet speak, this is called a Domain Name. A domain name allows you to address your space in our servers as (www.yourcompany.com.) This makes your website, email and internet presence uniquely your own.

Do you offer dial up services? JoRoNet Designs does not offer dial up services. Many ISP's throw in 2MB of website space for personal use but do not offer the support to use the space and more importantly, their energies and resources are focused on dial up services and equipment, not your website. This can lead to poor website performance and an overall poor presence for your business.

How do I try you for free? Establish a trial account with us by going to the Open Account page or by calling our sales department. Complete the application online or by phone, then your account will be established. Your first 30 days will be free. If you decide you don't want to continue your account with us, contact us within the first 30 days and your account will be closed with no further obligation. If you decide to continue your service, you need not do anything. You will be billed automatically. (Should you exceed the transfer rates of your selected plan during your free trial period, you will be responsible for only the amount of transfer above the selected plan.)

What are transfer rates? Transfer rates are the amount of data sent to from our servers to computers requesting that data. When someone visits your website and clicks on a link or submits a form, they are requesting the transfer of data. Our experience has shown that 2000 MB of transfer is generous enough to accommodate most business and personal websites. In addition to generous transfer rates, JoRoNet offers an over rate security plan. In any month that you exceed your data transfer rate enough to increase your costs to an equal or greater cost than the next higher package, you will be automatically upgraded into the next package. This is a free option you must select when you establish your account.You may also add this option by requesting it by email to our sales department.

How do I register a domain name or transfer an existing one? JoRoNet will do all the work for you. Just tell us what you want and we will get your domain name registered or transferred. Internic charges $70 for new domain name registration and that will be billed directly to you by them. This fee will give you exclusive use of your domain name for 2 years.
